Job Overview
This role involves operating a variety of heavy machinery on construction sites, ensuring safety, efficiency, and precision in all tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience with diverse equipment and a strong understanding of construction-type site operations.
What You'll Do

Employees will perform other duties as directed and needed by the company to ensure optimal safe and efficient operation.

Install piping and perform basic leaching operations with assistance.

Able to recognize equipment or systems operating outside normal ranges.

Only operate equipment or systems for which training has been provided.

Perform all pre-shift, pre-op and workplace inspections as required.

Follow good housekeeping practices.

Complete all necessary paperwork in a complete and timely manner.

The listed duties are not all inclusive. Operators at Tab are expected to help with any task at hand which may include getting out of the tractor to assist with labor or pipelayer activities

Minimum 3 years of experience as an equipment operator

Experience operating heavy equipment

Knowledge of underground utility installation

Experience with locating systems

Ability to read stakes and plans
-
Clear communication skills and ability to follow directions on active job sites

OSHA 10 certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire

Strong work ethic, dependable, and a team player

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to various job sites
