Role Description
Tab Construction is seeking a dependable, hardworking Shop Laborer / Parts Runner to support our construction operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying busy, working both indoors and outdoors, and being an important part of keeping projects moving efficiently.
The Shop Laborer / Parts Runner plays a key role in maintaining the shop, organizing equipment and materials, delivering parts to job sites, and assisting field crews as needed.
Qualifications

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to get on military installations (no felonies)

Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Dependable attendance and punctuality.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Basic mechanical aptitude preferred.

Construction, warehouse, equipment, or shop experience is a plus but not required.

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
Responsibilities

Pick up and deliver parts, tools, and materials to job sites and vendors

Maintain organization and cleanliness of the shop, yard, and storage areas

Load and unload equipment, materials, and supplies.

Assist with equipment inspections, fueling, and basic maintenance tasks

Track inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishment.

Receive and organize deliveries.

Assist mechanics and construction crews with general labor tasks

Operate forklifts, skid steers, and other equipment when qualified.

Maintain company vehicles and ensure they are clean and presentable.
